This site uses Leads by Denkploeg to see which companies visit the site. Not who you are.
Draft. This text is a proposal that our lawyer reviews before Leads opens.
What happens on a visit
- You open a page. The support bot's script asks Denkploeg for its settings. Your IP address comes along, as with every website.
- If Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is on, or you chose not to be recognised, it stops here. We only count that there was a visit.
- Otherwise we look up with a supplier in the EU which company the network belongs to. Only the address goes along, not the page, your browser or the site.
- If it is a home connection, a mobile network, a vpn, a sole trader, or we are not sure enough, we keep nothing but a count.
- If it is a company, we keep the company (name, Chamber of Commerce number, town, sector, size) and that it visited the site on that day. So a second page does not count as a second visit, the server keeps for half an hour a key computed from your address with a secret of that day, in working memory only. After that nothing is left.
What we do not keep
Your name, email address or phone number, your IP address, a cookie or ID, your device or browser, and in the default mode not which pages you viewed either.
Why
The owner of the site wants to know which companies are interested, to improve their offer and follow-up. That is a legitimate interest; Denkploeg has the assessment of it reviewed in writing. A recognised company is never passed on to advertising platforms.
Not being recognised
- This browser: switch on Global Privacy Control, or open the site with
#niet-herkennenafter the address. The site then remembers a fixed marker in your browser (not an ID) and no longer recognises your visit. - Your whole company: fill in the domain on denkploeg.nl/niet-herkennen. After a confirmation by email to info@ or privacy@ on that domain, your company's network is no longer recognised on any site with Leads.
Text for your privacy statement
On this site we use Leads by Denkploeg to see which companies visit our site. For that your IP address is used briefly to look up the company with a supplier in the EU; the address is not kept. We only keep the company and the day of the visit, never who you are. Home connections, mobile networks and sole traders are not recognised. We respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. If you do not want to be recognised, go to denkploeg.nl/niet-herkennen. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Retention: 90 days.
