Clients in your agency

The overview of your agency's workspaces, creating a client or lead, and setting up a client with status, invitation, brand and modules.

DocumentationClients in your agency

Under Workspaces on Agency (/agency/<your-agency>/workspaces) every client of your agency is a card. Here you manage the client; the work itself happens in their workspace. To understand your agency, its roles and its costs, read Agency and workspaces.

The overview

At the top are three numbers: how many client workspaces you have, how many have activity and how many proposals are waiting for a signature. Below that is a card per client, with a label for the status if it is not simply active, how much is waiting to be signed and how much got stuck. Search by name if you have many. The gold border means something is waiting to be signed or work has failed; the counts also appear next to the status.

Your own agency workspace is always first, recognisable by the Own agency workspace label and your agency logo. It stays put when you search, filter or sort, as long as you have access to it. The filters apply to the other clients. This works in the cards and in the table. If the logo is missing or cannot load, your agency's initials appear instead.

Set up is on every card for owners and administrators. Others see Open workspace and go to the client's work that way.

Creating a client or lead

Above the list is New client or lead, only for people who may set up clients. You give the client a name and choose what it starts as:

Starts asWhat it means
LeadYou prepare everything without the client being able to get in.
DemoA trial with an end date and its own cap on usage.
ActiveA client with a running contract.

If your agency itself is not active or in demo, you cannot create clients or leads. Get in touch with Denkploeg.

Setting up a client

Choose Set up on a client. The screen has four parts:

  • Status. What the client can do. A lead cannot get in yet, a demo has an end date and a paused client can only read. Which changes are possible depends on the current status. You cannot lift a pause set by Denkploeg.
  • Invite client. A client account looks along and approves via a share link. An owner gets to work themselves. For a lead this is off, because it has no client members yet.
  • Brand. Whether the client has a brand profile and logos. Without an active brand profile a client appears as plain text everywhere, in the rail and in every studio. You record the profile itself in the client's Creative Studio.
  • Modules. Which studios the client takes. They are off by default, and a studio that is not ready yet cannot be switched on.

The tour

The question mark at the bottom right opens a short tour of the overview, and a second one on the screen of a single client. They point at what is described above and say why you go there.
