Leads

See which companies visit your site, without knowing who sat at the computer. Only companies, no names and no IP addresses, and a lead in Relations in one click.

DocumentationLeads
Not for sale yet. Leads is ready, but we only sell it once the supplier for company recognition has been chosen. Until then it is not in any package.

Leads

Leads shows which companies visit your site. It is an extension of the support bot and works on every site where the bot's script is. You place nothing extra.

Not for everyone yet. Leads is behind a gate until our lawyer has approved, the supplier is chosen and the trial on our own sites has succeeded. Until then you see "not available yet" and nothing changes on your site or your bot. The texts on this page are a proposal that the lawyer reviews.

The promise

  • Only companies. We do not know who sat at the computer, and Leads has no place for a name, email address, phone number or profile.
  • The IP address is not kept. Not in a table, not in a log, not in a backup. A test in our pipeline searches the whole database for a test address and turns red at one hit.
  • When in doubt, throw away. Home connections, mobile networks, vpn and data centres, freelancers and sole traders, and every visit below 60 out of 100 certainty are not kept. We only count how many there were.

The overview

Under Leads you see the companies of today, the last 7 or 30 days: name, town and sector, size, how often, when last, how sure (high from 80, otherwise medium) and whether it is already in Relations. Above that are the number of companies and the coverage: recognised visits divided by all visits. In the market that is 20 to 30 percent, less for small businesses. Below the list is how many visits were deliberately left out and why.

A visit counts once per half hour. For that the server briefly remembers a key computed from the address with a secret that is new every day, in working memory only. The address itself is not remembered. That is brief pseudonymisation, not anonymisation; after half an hour, and certainly after a day, nothing is left.

A company

Open a company to see the visits per day of the last 14 days, why we are sure, what we know (Chamber of Commerce number, town, sector, size, legal form) and what we do not know. With Make a lead it goes into Relations: if a relation with the same domain exists, that one is linked and there is no second one. A lead from Leads only has a company. Who you call or email, you find out yourself. The relation's timeline gets a line "Company visited the site" per day, without pages.

  • Exclude: the domain goes on your exclusion list and the company is no longer recognised. You can restore it in Set up.
  • Wrongly recognised: the company disappears from your list, does not count and is not recognised again.

Set up

  • Script and site: switch Leads on per support bot. Off means: nothing is recognised and nothing counted.
  • Mode A or B: mode A is the default, without a cookie and without an ID. Mode B (with consent from the cookie banner, also the group of pages) comes in a next step.
  • Exclusions: a domain (for example a partner) or a path on your site. An IP address is not possible, in any field.
  • The trial: fourteen days of watching, then review a sample of twenty companies. At least 85 percent right and no freelancer or private individual, and the trial has succeeded.

Via MCP and the director

An external agent with a workspace key and the director (with the rights of the user who asks) can use Leads.

  • Read (leads.lezen): leads_dag_samenvatten and leads_bedrijf_opzoeken: the companies of a day and what we know of a company. Only companies, never a person or an IP address. Company names come from a supplier: the agent reads them as data and does not act on them.
  • Prepare a follow-up (leads.schrijven): leads_opvolging_klaarzetten prepares an ordinary follow-up in Relations. The text does not mention the visit.
  • Propose Leads settings (leads.beheren, owner and administrator): leads_instellen switches Leads on or off for a support bot and hides or shows the chat button. It puts a card under Approvals and changes something only when a human signs, because switching on decides whether visiting companies are recognised. What you leave out stays as it is at the moment of signing.
  • Deliberately not via MCP: the supplier, the exclusions, the trial and the mode. A tool that sends something out does not exist in Leads: getting in touch is done by a person.

Permissions

  • Seeing (leads.lezen): owner, administrator, maker and reader. A client and the field team do not see Leads.
  • Make a lead, exclude, report wrong, sample (leads.schrijven): owner, administrator and maker.
  • Set up (leads.beheren): owner and administrator.

Retention

Visits per day 90 days, counts 13 months, the sample a year. A company without a visit in 90 days and without a relation disappears. What became a lead is in Relations and follows the rules there.

What comes later

The daily email, signals and WhatsApp to your own team, usage per package, mode B with the cookie banner, the support bot that helps a business visitor differently without knowing a name, and the real supplier. Recognition at person level never comes, and a recognised company never becomes an advertising audience.
